ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses partnership arrangements between university social work courses and social welfare agencies in England and Wales. It focuses on the nature of partnership arrangements in relation to agencies’ assessment of social work students’ practice, and considers some of the costs and benefits of delivering social work education in this way.
