ABSTRACT

In this epilogue we discuss the lessons that we believe can be learned from the book and we speculate about the future of the teacher educator profession. We start with a theme that was also prominent in the epilogue of Becoming a Teacher Educator. We then discuss themes that emerged from this book that are crucial for teacher educators and are worth exploring in new research and books for teacher educators. Finally, we formulate recommendations for the future and we conclude the same way as Becoming a Teacher Educator: with the challenges for teacher educators in the coming ten years.
