ABSTRACT

Love is one of the most complex and universal emotions experienced by humans. There is a spectrum of love operating between not just humans, but also between humans and a broad variety of living organisms, complex machines, and physical devices. A large body of clinical and experimental evidence affirms the role of love as a vital factor in healing phenomena. Manifesting as caring, empathy, compassion, intentions, and prayer, love often manifests non-locally, beyond the limitations and constraints of space and time. Any comprehensive model of healing must include love as an essential factor.
