ABSTRACT

The unified series of PV modules "KVANT" having power 20, 30, 40, 60, 80 and 100 W based on the base module with power 10 W are presented in this report. The following approaches to increase the efficiency of the base module are investigated: 1. Application of combined (ion-diffusion) method to receive n+-p-p+ structures allowed to increase the average production efficiency of the solar cells up to 15-16% (AM 1.5, T=25°C). 2. Application in the structure of modules of the solar cells with bifacial (double-sided) sensitivity or transparent in IR region of spectrum has brought to the additional power or to a decrease of the module operating temperature. 3. Application of fluorine co-polymer film in combination with the thermal plastic layer EVA type instead of the glass on the front surface of the base module brings to the increase of current and output power on the account of the optical loss decrease that was present in the glass. As the result the specific electric power of the unified series of PV modules under the standard conditions of illumination has increased up to 144 W\m2
