ABSTRACT
China’s impressive economic growth motivates us to explore the roles of economic policies in shaping her economic landscape. We examine monetary policy targets, instruments and the regime change of China, give an overview of the institutional foundation and inter-governmental relation that determines the implementation of fiscal policy and analyze the evolution of trade policy and its impacts on trade development and interaction with the environment. Growth and sustainability are the coherent themes connecting these economic policies.
