ABSTRACT
Madam Yuan (ca. 220-265 a .d .), the wife of Xu Yun, was bom in Weishi, Chenliu (modern-day Weishi county, Henan province). Her father was Yuan Qi (also called Boyan), and his official rank weiwei ging was third grade, as a minister in charge of palace security. It is said that she had a brother Yuan Kan.
