ABSTRACT
Having looked at the unconfined through-flowing groundwater, let us now go further and examine the deeper confined groundwater geosystem, hosting the formation waters. The latter have been encountered at a depth range of up to 9 km-as deep as research drillings have been done. The volume of formation water exceeds the volume of water residing in the upper unconfined system; it is huge.
