ABSTRACT
This chapter enlightens the new and emerging areas of bioinformatics. Drug target identification and identification of the target is discussed. Further nutrigenomics and toxicogenomics are seen as important areas in bioinformatics that have a significant effect on human health. Finally, bioterrorism is deliberated, which is the hottest topic of today because of the current global pandemic SARS-COVID-19.
