ABSTRACT
Handling and controlling [restraint] of animals is required during several farm operations like treatment, castration, surgical procedures, breeding, milking, shearing, dipping, examination of mouth, eyes, teeth, hooves, feet, assistance during calving, dystocia, drenching, etc. Handling must be gentle. The person who handles animal should be cautious with regard to his own safety failing to which sometimes it may result in injury or fatality.
