ABSTRACT

Digital Immunity (DI) infrastructure is the most viable component to keep the Smart City safe and secure. Antivirus technologies have not been able to overcome the flood of cybercrime attacks. Ray Kurzweil eloquently described the artificial intelligence component in DI as equivalent to the human nervous system: Nanobots are robots that will be the size of human blood cells or even smaller. DI will be a superintelligent machine that will surpass all the malicious cybercrime activities in intelligence, speed, and efficacy, and will offer Smart Cities the most innovative nanobot-mediated cyber defense. DI is the Holy Grail of the Smart City's new generation of intelligent defense. The new superintelligent DI will transcend the limitations of human intelligence by one hundred billion fold. The superintelligent DI will replicate the complexity of the Human immune system and recursively will enhance itself with a better Digital Immune System.
