ABSTRACT
Experts, with all their importance and value, can be viewed as double-edged swords. Not only do they bring in a deep knowledge base and thoughts, but also they could provide biases and
pet
theories. The selection of experts, elicitation of their opinions, and aggregation of the opinions should be performed and handled carefully by recognizing uncertainties associated with the opinions, and sometimes with skepticism.
