ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a Leray-Schauder type theory which guarantees the existence of fixed points in shells of Banach spaces. This is turn will enable us to discuss the existence of multiple fixed points for operator equations. In particular we will use the elementary ideas of Chapter 9 to present some fixed point theorems of cone compression or expansion type.
