ABSTRACT
Planning and tracking progress have already been discussed in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. However, these topics were then presented in the context of individual information technology (IT) initiatives, where the manager of each was essentially defining how the work was going to proceed. It could bear little resemblance to what other initiatives are using, although in all likelihood, bits and pieces would be common to both.
