ABSTRACT
Because tocotrienols are the “new kids in the block” of vitamin E, throughout the chapters in this book there will be reference to the chemistry of tocotrienols. In order to avoid redundancy in various chapters, it was thought appropriate to compile the available information on the chemistry of tocotrienols in a separate chapter so that readers can relate to this chapter when they read about the pleiotropic effects of tocotrienols in other chapters.
