ABSTRACT
Many masonry subcontractors use platform lifts that can be raised and lowered by crank or (for the more expensive models) by motor. These platform lifts facilitate productivity increases, they are safer because workers are not required to bend excessively or work in awkward positions and the workers constantly work in a comfortable position. This improves the quality, safety, and speed of the work performance.
