ABSTRACT
The laboratory program for performing and monitoring equipment calibration and preventative maintenance must assure that instru ments and equipment meet allowable tolerances and are operating properly. Units failing to meet requirements are identified and taken out of service. There are three absolute requirements for such a program: qualified personnel, detailed procedures and raw docu mentation. These three requirements form a troika. One missing requirement will result in a program that fails totally.
