ABSTRACT
Prokaryotes: (bacteria). Without internal or ganelles, but may have inclusions. Typically with one dimension restricted to about 1 jim. Usually distinguished by colour (e.g. blue-green algae), form or metabolic pathways (e.g. spiral, coccoid filamentous, red sulphur, etc.).
