ABSTRACT
Particle removal from surfaces is important to many manufacturing processes as well as to general purpose cleaning of items such as automobiles and floors. It is acutely important to industries such as the microelectronics industry, which relies upon polishing with fine particles followed by particle removal that must be extremely effective in order to minimize device failures [ 1-7].
