ABSTRACT
Evolutionary processes that have shaped the living world have been the result of integrated selection, mutation, genetic drifts, isolation, and gene flow through gradualism and punctuated equilibrium resulting in successful extant species that have survived the onslaughts of time and space to further play their role in shaping the future. At the same time, several species have become extinct as they were unsuccessful and did not survive the evolutionary process.
