ABSTRACT

New experimental data are reported for the thermodynamic investigation of the intermolecular halogenated compounds in non-polar solvent. Experimental data are reported of excess molar volumes, excess permittivity, and excess Gibb’s free energy (ΔG) of binary mixtures of Flourobenzene, Chlorobenzne, Bromobenzne, 4-Chlorobenzaldehyd, and 4-flourobenzaldehyd in 1,4-dioxane at various concentrations at 298, 308, and 318K. The mixing calculated using the experimental value of relative permittivity on the basis of Winkelmann-Quitzsch equation. The VE values were measured using a dilatometer and are positive over the entire mole fraction range for all the systems.
