INFECTIOUS BOVINE KERATOCONJUNCTIVITIS (‘PINK EYE’, NEW FOREST DISEASE) DEFINITION/OVERVIEW Infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK) is a highly contagious disease that can spread rapidly during the summer months. IBK is seen in cattle worldwide and has significant economic consequences in some countries. It is more commonly seen in young stock than in adults.
