ABSTRACT
The core chapters of this book provide detailed information on the concepts, principles and implementation of Lean in a healthcare environment. The primary goal behind these chapters is to eliminate the excuses which surround implementing Lean; such as, “we are unique”, “it won’t work in my department” or “clinical practice is unpredictable”.
