- Applications of Metal-Induced Crystallization Polycrystalline Silicon for Advanced Flat-Panel Displays

Metal-induced crystallization (MIC) polycrystalline silicon (poly-Si) thin-film transistors (TFTs) have attracted more and more interest in their use in flat-panel displays, not only due to their superior device performances, but also due to the mass production potential. In this chapter, the main applications of MIC poly-Si TFTs in flat-panel displays will be presented.
