Case 14: Two patients with pustular plaques on a neurosurgical ward

Both patients had a similar eruption charac­ terized by several well-circumscribed, erythematous plaques on the skin of the back (Figures 1 4a, b ) . The surfaces of these lesions were studded with superficial pustules (Figure 1 4c ) .
