ABSTRACT
Renal artery angioplasty and stent placement have been performed worldwide for many years
despite limited good quality scientific evidence in support of any worthwhile benefit. Visceral
(celiac and superior mesenteric) endovascular intervention, on the other hand, has received
relatively little attention, and the published data are limited to a few small case series.
