ABSTRACT
Students need to be able to calculate the parameters of AC equivalent circuits using transformation theorems. Students should understand the characteristics and behaviour of constant-voltage and constant-current energy sources. Students should be able to state and apply Thévenin’s and Norton’s theorems and should understand the equivalence between them. Students should also be able to identify star and delta networks and should be able to apply transformation theorems in order to determine the equivalence between them.
