ABSTRACT
RODCHENKO’s active exploratory use of the camera not only amounts to wisepractical advice for the photographer, it also had political motivation. Hebelieved that his unusual views could present a new reality. In line with the political thinking of the new Soviet state, it was considered that a new social order should demand a new mode of representation.
