ABSTRACT
Working as a sport psychologist in any elite level professional sport environment places special demands upon the sport psychologist. Some of these relate to the rapidity of decision making, the impact of high levels of money, and the high level of competitiveness within the Premiership. This competitive spirit exists between teams, managers and players at the same club, and even on occasion between staff within individual clubs.
