ABSTRACT
This chapter collects stories narrated by gym managers, gym instructors, personal trainers and studio instructors. Through their narratives, I will show how different categories of professionals are touched by the presence of eating-disordered exercisers, and how they deal with the challenges that such clients pose. The names of all people in the case histories have been changed so that clients and professionals are unidentifiable.
