ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a "find the prize" activity that helps children learn listening skills and helps them follow verbal directions. The child has to listen to the professional’s instruction in order to find their prize. Children participate one at a time which allows for practicing waiting and turn taking. The professional may have to remind children to wait and listen and keep children focused on the goals they are working on in this activity. The chapter also includes instructions for several other activities for children and adolescents, including space mistakes, roles and turns, animal pairs, bingo friends, bubbles social skills, boatman, progressive balloon game, animal feelings, volcano, and bubble tag.
