ABSTRACT
In this chapter we shall make a new approach to Syllogistic. We shall not try either to analyse, or to find analogues for, syllogistic schemata within the Predicate Calculus (or any other Calculus), but shall take them simply as they are. We shall take the whole set of schemata traditionally regarded as valid, and present this entire system in an axiomatic form.
