ABSTRACT
In her frequent visits to the hospital Elvira had a word of consolation for each of the poor patients, and according to her means some alleyiation for their pains. She never denied her services to anyone, and in carrying on her work of charity performed acts of heroism, such as we read of in the lives of the Saints.
