ABSTRACT

An aim of the graphing is to show that plotting a power function in log-log coordinates yields a straight line, whereas plotting an exponential function does not. One of MATLAB’s most celebrated features is its ability to generate beautiful, professional plots and other graphics. Use hold on to get multiple curves when the plot command is used more than once within a figure window. The subplot function takes three arguments: the number of rows of subplots; the number of columns of subplots; and the number of the particular subplot being plotted at the time. The number of subplots cannot exceed the number of rows times the number of columns. The error was in the subplot command. In the unsolved version, the number of rows and the number of columns were omitted in subplot. An important point to take note of is that the error is supposedly in line 157 of the subplot function provided by Mathworks.
