ABSTRACT

The number of people who fear their jobs are at risk from Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation is growing. As the nature of work and employment changes through AI, transformational leaders will define and execute AI plans that evolve to create high-performance loops. These new types of workflows will take advantage of the synergies of human capabilities being enhanced by AI. In many organizations today the “AI meets HR” conversation is lagging behind the technology investments being made. Realizing the value AI can deliver requires leaders to explore new operating models. This means managing not only the technical side of the AI but also the softer side of transformation. While many jobs will be impacted by AI, it’s important to recognize AI will affect some jobs more than others. The key to creating a high-performing workforce in an AI-driven world is less about attracting and retaining employees who tech savvy and more about hiring employees who are change ready.
