ABSTRACT
This chapter presents an intersectional perspective on the psychology of men, focusing on research demonstrating the variable ways masculinities is socially learned and constructed among men of different racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. A central theme of the chapter is the notion that both universals and particulars exist across men of different races, ethnicities, classes, and sexual orientations.
