It is difficult to verbalise the emotional response to seeing a billboard saying simply No Man Has The Right. One woman on seeing the Edinburgh campaign said she stood there and simply said ‘Yes’. How can you convey the sense of power – the power to name, power to object, power to reject male violence, power to be? ‘Yes’ encapsulates the fist raised in defiance, the spirit raised in hope and the voice raised in accord with women
