ABSTRACT

ON the morning after our session on Religious Liberty, I met the Smyths on the street in town. They asked me whether I had slept well after leading them on a merry chase through the labyrinth of theological speculations. I told them that I had slept well after reading Plutarch On the Delay of the Divine Justice. Mrs. Smyth wondered whether it would not be a good idea to have a colloquium on that subject also.
