Interpretation and understanding of the context in relation to: responsibilities as social worker, agency requirements, statutory/policy guidelines, the particular circumstances of the service user and the problems or concerns that are being explored. Professional experience, values, skills and knowledge of: Theories of human development and behaviour, specific factors/information associated with particular issues or concerns, Intervention methods, Related research. Communication of intervention informed by listening and thinking.
