ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the interfaces provided for personnel who have to interact with the simulator: trainees and instructors. These interfaces are referred to as Trainee-Simulator Interfaces (TSIs) and Instructor-Simulator Interfaces (ISIs), respectively. The section on TSIs focuses mainly on instrument cues, but also includes a review of aural cueing and the simulation of sound.
