ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 compares the sound system of Early Middle Sino-Korean and the phonological system in different works of Chinese, specifically, Qieyun 切韻 (601), Xuanying’s 玄應 (?–661) Yiqie jing yinyi一切經音義 (c. 650), He Chao’s 何超 Jinshu yinyi 晉書音義 (747), Huilin’s 慧琳 (737–820) Yiqie jing yinyi 一切經音義 (810), Shengyin changhe tu 聲音唱和圖 (c. 1050) and Qieyun zhizhang tu 切韻指掌圖 (c. twelfth century).
