ABSTRACT
Some of the best advice I ever heard is the rule of three: Fast, Cheap, Good. You can only have two. It’s true for shoes, car shopping, and dating. Here we see it applied to moviemaking. Let’s break it down:
• FAST and CHEAP? Forget it. Not possible. Fast AND cheap is just no good. Fast and cheap is crap. Fast and cheap is going to be fraught with bad choices. People get hurt. Careers are ruined. No one wants to waste time on another poorly made fi lm.
