ABSTRACT
Design and Composition are basic to any artistic endeavor; visual or audio.
These might also be referred to as the Elements of Composition. As with so much else, different designers will categorize and label these differently. You might too, but we have to start somewhere; Unity, Variety, Balance, Emphasis, Rhythm, Proportion, and Scale. All of these same ideas might be applied to how things sound, as well as how they look.
