ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the process of developing workflow. The great benefits of raw file workflow are that it gives us the ability to style and develop raw files in a variety of ways but with variety also comes the need to organize. One can develop files with the Right Panel, but the Left Panel allows saving different versions of one's work. One can also navigate through the history of how they developed images, and one can play with Presets to glimpse a myriad of different styles. A Preset is essentially saved configuration of Right Panel adjustments in the Develop Module. The developmental presets are not the only add-ons that are offered, so one should be aware before download or purchase an add-on. Lightroom does maintain a history of our developments, but more often than not, photographers want to create different looks for their images, and thus have the need to have a set of adjustments saved in multiple stages.
