ABSTRACT

In the past few years a number of books have been written for children to help them understand what attention deficit disorder is all about. Parents and teachers are often uncertain about how to explain such problems to children. Young children may not understand why they have more trouble keeping still and paying attention than others do, and most teenagers with ADD will minimize any attentional problems or deny them altogether.
