ABSTRACT
The typical day interview (Gil, 1994) is a play therapy technique that is usually used as an assessment tool. To do a typical day interview, the therapist provides the child with dollhouses and dolls. The therapist then encourages the child to explain his/her “normal” day and to use the dolls as props to tell the story.
