ABSTRACT
Up to this point, attention has been devoted exclusively to the traditional, most widely used factor analytic design, called “R-technique” by Cattell (1952) to distinguish it from other factor analytic designs such as P-and Q-techniques. The purpose of this chapter is to explore briefly some of these alternatives to the traditional R-technique factor analytic design.
