This strategy offers students a visual, concrete representation of the depth and breadth of learning taking place during a unit of study. Students use strips of paper to create a large chain that includes details or facts demonstrating what they have learned. The links eventually form a long chain that can be used to illustrate the students' knowledge of a topic.
