ABSTRACT

More than 300 cases of environmental conflict have been coded on a wide variety of criteria. This information is the basis for showing a wide variety of one-dimensional and two-dimensional breakouts of environmental conflict cases. These data slices cover geographic locations, time periods, resource categories, conflict types, environment indictors, and others. These cases show characteristics of the field that in many ways reflects common beliefs and sentiments about the types of locations of behavior. It does nonetheless offer some nuances to those understandings.
