ABSTRACT
With many companies moving operations o«shore hoping that lower labor costs would make them more pro table (and with many failures), we knew that there were other companies that kept their operations at home and succeeded. We wanted to nd out what made them successful and how others might learn that, with good management, jobs did not always have to be sent overseas for pro tability at home. We started with company selection.
