ABSTRACT
Introduction Identifying correlates of violence is among the most important task of any work attempting to better understand the phenomenon. –e reason the correlates are so important is that it is through the correlates that we are able to approach the concept of violence from a macro level. In this chapter, ve correlates are identied as closely related to violence. Of course, this is not an exhaustive list. –e fact is that human behavior is so complex and multifaceted it is nearly impossible to construct an exhaustive list of correlates without confounding the relationships to the point of uselessness.
